Tamina is a powerhouse veteran and Belair is one of the most talented performers to break out in recent years, but a lack of time to do anything special led to this being a short, somewhat uneventful match. Tamina hit the ring post when The EST avoided her, and it allowed Belair to hit the K.O.D. The powerhouse followed up with a Samoan drop for a near-fall. Tamina yanked her off the middle rope so she landed on her face. Natalya watched as Belair hit a handspring moonsault for a quick two-count. As usual, Big Time Becks delivered.Īfter a quick back-and-forth, Bianca Belair hit Tamina with a suplex to take control. This was a decent, energetic match to get the crowd hot for the rest of the show.īecky Lynch came out and gave a quick promo to reaffirm her role as a heel by saying the crowd may have cheered for her last night, but nobody would care if she didn't walk out of that ring unharmed. Ziggler is a top seller in WWE, but we should also give Riddle credit for how he took the superkick he received after a slingshot out of the ring. Against a guy like Ziggler, there was almost zero chance of this match being bad. However, not liking someone's character will not stop this writer from acknowledging Riddle's physical ability. Unfortunately, the person doing these grades does not find him funny in the slightest.
If you like Riddle and his brand of humor, some of this stuff probably made you laugh. The Bro lined up and hit the RKO for the win. Riddle blocked a superkick and hit a huge knee to the face. They traded punches as they got to their feet. We returned from a break to see Riddle starting to build up a head of steam. He tried to slingshot over the top rope onto The Showoff, but he ended up eating a superkick to the mouth on the way down. He grabbed Ziggler for a spinning gut-wrench suplex with several revolutions. Ziggler eventually got the fake goatee off Riddle's face, but that just made The Bro angry. They started off with a basic lockup and quickly upped the aggression.
It looks like Riddle is trying to be more like The Viper and dressed like him with a fake goatee. We also saw Riddle and Randy Orton have a quick conversation backstage before The Bro took on Dolph Ziggler. They had no clues other than some blurry surveillance tape. Raw opened with Vince McMahon talking to Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce about who might have stolen the egg last night.
